About Us

  • BT Garage is a performance automotive facility that was built on a team platform of very unique individuals with vastly differing skill sets and knowledge bases to cover all areas of performance, racing and repair. From our sales team to our in-house calibrator and lead technician, each member brings forth a long history, portfolio and a wealth of detailed knowledge in repair and racing with all the vehicles platforms that we support. When we are not at work we are at the track testing and supporting our worldwide racing vehicles.
  • From general scheduled repair of all modern cars (with a specialization in performance / racing cars) to a custom fuel system upgrade for a race ready BMW M3, or deep diagnostics of a 800HP 4 cylinder engine, our team can tackle the project and offer you a solution. While we focus on performance, we also do routine maintenance and OEM level repair work. We invest in all the latest tooling and diagnostic equipment, along with OEM factory scan tools for the cars we service. We also have rental cars on site.
  • Come check out our 9,000SQ/FT facility in Upton, Massachusetts and meet some of our staff today (appointment only). We are conveniently located at the center of the highway systems, I-495 To New Hampshire, Mass Pike I-90 to Boston, and RT-146 to Providence.


  • PETER (LEAD TECHNICIAN) – Peter was a previous Subaru customer and has been with us since 2018 after years in various dealers and independent repair shops. He has seen all New England has to offer and his skill set shows. From basic maintenance to engine out repair jobs, he has the skills to tackle each job properly with the precision you have come to expect from us. He handles all of our Subaru builds and most maintenance work that comes through the shop. Peter’s skill set has grown from Japanese tuner to European with the help of Tim’s long euro history while they work side by side.
  • JOE (SERVICE MANAGER, SHIPPING, and RECEIVING, FRONT END SUPPORT MEMBER) – Joe has a long history of customer service, support and is a long-time car guy. While Joe is our newest team member, he fits right in with with the passion and knowledge to match. Joe will do most front end support work, including scheduling, customer interaction, vehicle delivery and more. 
  • BRENDAN (OPERATIONS MANAGER) – Brendan is our lead R&D team member and has years of experience with calibrating EFI vehicles. Having previously worked in sales for many technology firms during the day, he turned his night and weekend passion of racing cars into a full time motorsports business. He has been racing and modifying his own cars since 1999. His love for racing in our area grew into people wanting similar setups and speeds he achieved which turned into the business you see today. His attention to detail and striving for quality in modifications, coining our motto “Performance Without Sacrifice”, formed us into the business you see today with employees who hold the same values. He specializes in the electronics side of OEM software engineering, with knowledge of all modules (suspension, engine, transmission) and has a master level understanding of WINOLS. Japanese, European and American cars are all covered under his knowledge base. When Brendan isn’t behind the keyboard you can find him at any of the local tracks putting down blistering lap times while testing a new calibration or aftermarket part to see if it improves the car’s performance.
  • CHRIS (SALES AND SUPPORT) – Chris started here in 2014 originally as a customer and has been pivotal in the development of many of our day to day systems, communication methods, customer interactions and quoting. Chris comes from a long history of solving customers problems with analytical and cost effective solutions. His skill set comes from other industries and now positions his corporate knowledge into motorsports. He has extensive knowledge of Subaru’s and tuner cars owning dozens over the years and building many of them himself. He knows the ins and outs of our daily operations and all the workflow that comes through the shop. Chris knows how to communicate tech jargon straight from our racing side into terms a customer can appreciate and understand in a swift manner, helping you get back on the road or track quickly. If you have called or emailed the shop since 2014, chances are you have talked to or emailed with Chris!
  • NEIL (SALES AND SUPPORT) – Neil was our first employee! He is our backbone and has handled our email support and communications and shop media in some capacity from 2011 through now. He does many of our quotes, scheduling, customer service and social media posting. He has worked on many of our videos and all of our early forum interactions were done by him. With Neil’s help, the rest of the team is able to focus on in house work and the future goals of an ever-growing business.
